TECHNICAL DETAILS ON UUC T-DRIVE™ ROTORS

UUC T-DRIVE™ ROTORSDesigned around race-proven T-Drive dynamic mount hardware as used in ALMS, Grand Am, NASCAR, and virtually all other professional racing series, the UUC T-Drive floating rotors bring professional race performance to OE-replacement fitments. A true "floating" rotor design allows the disk portion to expand radially with heat, seperate from the cooler mounting hat.  This reduces stress-induced deformation of the disk due to differences in temperature between disk and hat.  The net result is more effective braking and longer lifespan of pad and rotor components. The T-Drive™ technology provides the most accurate and durable method of isolating potential pad engagement harmonics and the in-service thermal variances that occur between the mounting hat and the rotor. This system places the "float" within the hat, and then allows the use of standard through-hole mount rotors. The ability to use through-hole mount rotors provides increased durability and improved accuracy. The square faced T-nuts provide a substantially wider load bearing surface as compared to the round pin and bobbin type mounts. The results are felt with truer running, smoother engagement, extended reliability, and consistent pedal feel after every lap. Features: Precision machining for minimal runout and thickness variation. Race-proven metallurgy. Directional curved vanes maximize cooling air flow and prevent thermal distortion. Made from High Carbon Alloy with copper and molybdenum for high temperature strength and stability Vanes are turned on both ID and OD surfaces to reduce thermal warping and vibration T-Drive attachment to allow both radial and axial expansion. Directional slotting for faster water and pad gassing removal, and visual wear indicator. Uses standard BMW rotor retaining bolt. Rebuildable with new rotor discs. Hats anodized in gunmetal gray color. PLEASE NOTE: T-Drive™ mounting hardware is re-usable and does not need to be replaced unless showing visible damage. Replacement disk/hat and disk-only also available in either left or right.
