CompuTrainer Lab

The Pro Lab 3D CompuTrainer has been calibrated on Racermate's dynamometer and sorted to a higher degree of accuracy than the standard Pro 3D CompuTrainer. It is ideally suited for MultiRider systems group racing/training and any other application such as coaching and testing where the highest possible degree of accuracy is desired. The CompuTrainer Lab unit hardware includes the Racermate 1500 Watt Electronic Load Generator with the Posilock Rear Mount Stand, the Microprocessor Handlebar Controller with LCD Display to measure speed, power, cadence, calories burned, and heart rate, the Cadence Sensor, the Earclip Heartrate Monitor, the Front Wheel Support and Training Guide by coach Joe Friel. The Hardware and Electronic System of the CompuTrainer creates resistance loads in excess of 1500 Watts. Independant laboratory tests have shown it equal in accuracy to instruments such as the SRM and Lode systems which cost much more. Because of its superior accuracy and outstanding durability, the CompuTrainer system has become the standard testing ergometer of national team and elite cycling and multi-sport coaches in the U.S.A., Canada and other countries. The 3D Software included with the Lab provides a Panoramic 3D course, Grade Profiles to 15%, Scenery Selections of Painted Desert and Rolling Green Hills, Male or Female Pacer Riders, the SpinScan Bar & Polar modes in split screen, Custom Course Creation, Unlimited courses and saved races and free Downloads of prerecorded 3D courses. The on-screen Data bar displays: - distance - lead - lap time - finish time - calories - instant/average/peak: watts cadence heartrate speed Also included with the Pro is the CompuTrainer Coaching Software which provides detailed trining testing and recording functions for the best documentation and future training accuracy. The CompuTrainer Pro requires a 9-pin serial port on the computer to operate. For computers having only USB ports, a USB-to-Serial adapter is always supplied - at no additional charge.
