All Marilyn Merlot vintages carry the Napa Valley appellation (except for the 1987 vintage, which was imported from France). The wines are made at the Napa Wine Company in Oakville, California. Some of Napa Valley's finest vineyards contribute to the blend, which is typically about 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
