2006 is our first release of this unique wine. Born out of our Cabernet and Sangiovese estate vineyards in the town of La Honda high in the Santa Cruz Mountains, this blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon and 43% Sangiovese is reminiscent of wines from Northern Italy, but with a unique coastal California twist of lower alcohol, light body, a touch of spice, and brisk acidity, just 94 cases produced, will age quite well, 12.5% alcohol. Goes especially well with spaghetti bolognese!
