This wine is made in the South of France from Pinot Blanc which is derived from Pinot Gris, itself a form of Pinot Noir. Its flavor is similar to a light Chardonnay. Typical of its varietal, this Pinot Blanc is a little spicy with smooth, creamy fruit – sort of "middle of the road" spicy and aromatic. This wine pairs well with light dishes, un-aged cheeses, and pork or poultry.
