2007 Sauvignon Blanc Richmond Plains

This crisp, balanced white wine is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes from New Zealand.  It's an intense wine with flavors from passion fruit to gooseberry.  It's clean and sharp, while remaining unaggressive and balanced.  This wine pairs well with light meats, poultry and cheeses.

The Holmes family vineyard has been tended organically since its inception in 1991. The region’s cool climate, with long summer days and cold, crisp winters combine to create ideal grape growing conditions. Together with a commitment to organic methods, these conditions have resulted in elegant white wines and well-structured and balanced medium bodied reds.

This Sauvignon Blanc is an intense wine that combines passion fruit, and lighter gooseberry flavors in an elegant wine. Clean and sharp without agressivity, it presents a nice balance.
