The 2008 Zinfandel Old Vine Moratto Vineyard, from a hillside parcel
planted in 1920, boasts a dense ruby/purple color as well as more floral
notes intermixed with notions of blueberries, black raspberries,
incense, and spice. Multilayered, rich, and full-bodied with terrific
intensity, this cuvee should drink well for 7-8 years.
