The 2008 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was a "pleasant surprise" so to speak. The low yields and vine stress resulted in a small deeply colored high concnetrated crop. It is a classic Caymus style that we have come to love and enjoy... A highly fruit driven wine, lush flavor with a well balanced tannin structure. Bursts with blackberry and blueberry fruit on the palate . The nose on this wine is incredible, loads of floral and mineral notes. Ends with a long smooth finish. Drink now or will continue to age beautifully for 7 to 10 years. Al Jabarin
