2006 Cavus Cabernet Sauvignon Stags Leap
91pts(WA)A strong effort, the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant, Margaux-like
red revealing subtle notes of flowers, earth, and red, blue, and black
fruits, medium body, and beautiful density, purity, and overall
symmetry. Surprisingly elegant for a 2006, it should drink well for 15
years.
Both of these offerings are produced from primarily
Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Merlot and Cabernet Franc
included in the blend. Production is between 150-300 cases of each. Robert parker Wine advocate No 186 December 2009
91pts(WS)Rustic, and pleasantly so, with earthy herb, dried berry, plum and black licorice flavors that are pure and full-bodied.
