The heavens opened its bounty upon the Beeswax Vineyard in the Arroyo Seco section of Monterey County in 2007.

This decadent dessert wine was made from grenache blanc grapes picked early in the morning and left to dry for two weeks à la vin de paille in the shade of the vines. The concentrated fruit was then taken to our winery in Santa Cruz for whole-cluster pressing, ensuring the wine's complexity and nuance.

With 15% residual sugar, this wine is deliciously drinkable and, in one of those odd synchronicities not uncommon to Bonny Doon, offers an unmistakable and extremely attractive hint of beeswax.
