Spec3 Performance Chip
Details
Install this chip for an optimized tune for the Spec3 engine and exhaust requirements. Chip retains 6,500 RPM rev limiter and removes top speed limiter. The intent is to provide software that doesn't affect engine reliability while making your Spec3 car more fun and mixed-field competitive.
Chips fit both 413 and 506 model ECUs. This is the specific chip allowed in the NASA Spec3 class and no modifications to code are allowed. All ships are the same, non-EWS version which will require cutting the green wire at Pin 66 on the ECU plug for any 1995-production cars.
Chips are delivered on a decoder board and must be installed as a unit with this board. Broken decoder boards will be replaced ($50 cost) upon return of broken board only.
