Powerflex 5/6/7/8/X/Z8 Series Urethane Front Suspension Bushings

The Achilles' heel of the 5/6/7 series cars since the 80s! Our Powerflex urethane replacement bushings are a necessity for these cars, whether you want better handling or just an alternative to failure-prone factory parts. These solid urethane pieces replace the weak factory webbed design (center and shell connected with 3 small pieces of rubber webbing), stopping front end sloppiness and shake under braking.

Bushing Fitment Locations:

• Thrust rod (AKA upper control arm or tension rod) - The larger bushing of the two options. This is typically the bushing that wears prematurely, causing sloppy handling and uneven tire wear.
• Control arm (AKA lower control arm or track rod) - The smaller bushing of the two options. Does not wear as fast as the trust arm bushing, but is a great upgrade for any 5, 6, or 7 Series.
