TECH NOTE: If you belt's ribs are cracked or look "sharp" then it's past due for a replacement. While replacing, take a good feel of the waterpump, tensioner pulley(s), and idler pulley. Inspect fan clutch (if equipped) for proper operation. we strongly suggest replacing tensioner and idler pulleys as these plastic parts do crack and shatter with age, causing potentially large damage to your engine, radiator, etc.
