Additionally, Hyperco manufactures from materials that are not found in a mill’s standard inventory. This allows engineers to design suspension coils to optimum specifications with the largest variety of wire diameters available today and materials including ultra-high tensile chrome silicon, micro alloys, titanium, alloy steels and stainless. Multiple magnaflux inspections, before and after coiling, are used to ensure the wire is free from surface imperfections which, undetected, could lead to spring failure.

What does all this mean to you? Due to the optimization process, Hypercoils-brand springs utilize less coils, giving them both less weight (less unsprung mass is a good thing) and more compressibility before coil-bind.  Additionally, each pair of springs is rate tested and matched so you are getting a matched suspension based on real measurements, not what the factory wanted to make.  Hypercoils springs have been the standard on our racecars of the last bunch of years and the quality is obvious in the resulting performance.
