Manufactured in a cooperative agreement between Continental and Hoosier, the CTC spec tire has proven to be an excellent tire for the GRAND-AM race series. These tires are extremely consistent and offer a long life. Additionally, made with two layers of steel belting, covered with Hoosier's R6 rubber compound, these tires handle high loading produced by heavier cars and high-G environments (oval banking).
This version of our current CTC race tire has been discontinued due to a cosmetic change in the tread section, but is otherwise the same as the tires we currently race on. These tires are an excellent race tire or lapping day tire.
